Alana De La Garza, an incredible actress who has made a lasting impression on the screen. De La Garza, a Mexican American father as well as an Irish American mother were born in Columbus Ohio on June 26 in 1976. De La Garza emigrated shortly to Texas and studied physical therapy at University of Texas. De La Garza stayed in Texas only a short time before moving into Orlando Florida. She took part in many different kinds of acting roles, including commercials and local independent movies. The small parts didn't stop her from discovering that she loved acting. In 2001, she moved to New York where her first role was on All My Children's daytime soap opera in the role of Rosa Santos. There were minor roles in JAG The Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men during the first half of 2000. Her debut major series was on The Mountain. De La Garza played Maria Serrano, alongside a number of top TV actors like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggi, and Mitch Pilegge. Her most memorable character came in 2006 on Law & Order where she played A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared for 85 episodes. In the following seasons, she was a part of The Law & Order: LA short-lived sequel. De La Garza received nominations for a variety of awards including the award for Best Supporting Actress-TV by Imagen Foundation Awards as well as a number of ALMA Award nominations. In 2008, she won the Impact Award from the National Hispanic Media Coalition for her outstanding performances in a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza was then cast as a recurring actor on CSI Miami. She portrayed Marisol Deko in the role of Horatio his wife. She played the character Dr. Lena Solis, she was last seen on NBC's rather dark drama Do No Harm. Alyssa Milano was cancelled by NBC after only two episodes. Milano. The mother of the child is a Italian father, as well as a sister Cory which is a years younger than her. The family she was raised in was an orthodox and religious family. Milano started her acting career at the age of seven years old after her babysitter accompanied her in an audition. Out of more than a thousand applicants, she was chosen among only four.
